Operating Steps
- Identify Positions: Locate the center "Off" position (usually marked). The upper and lower positions represent "On" states for different circuits.
- Apply Directional Force: Firmly push the toggle lever past the center detent towards your desired "On" position (either up or down). Do not stop at the center.
- Confirm Engagement: Feel the lever click into place. Ensure it remains firmly in the selected "On" position and doesn't spring back to center.
- Check Indicators: Verify associated lights, sounds, or device movement confirm the intended circuit is active.
- Return to Off: Move the lever through its central path directly to the opposite "On" position or stop deliberately at the center "Off" detent to deactivate all functions.
Important Considerations
Avoid forcing the lever diagonally. Move it straight along its designated track. For spring-loaded (momentary) on-off-on variants, hold the lever continuously in the desired "On" position; releasing automatically returns it to center "Off".
